Cookie policy

A short, honest description of what this website stores on your device. Until you choose, that is nothing at all.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Websites also use similar technologies, such as local storage. We use the word "cookies" for all of them here.

Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting, or by another company whose content appears on the page.

2What this website stores

Nothing is stored on your device until you choose. The first time you arrive, a banner asks whether you agree to analytics. If you choose Only necessary, no analytics or advertising cookie is stored on your device, and you can browse the menu, read the allergen table and send a booking request.

We record only your answer itself, so we don't ask again on every page. It is kept in your browser for 12 months and never leaves your device. You can change or withdraw it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

What loads from other companies

  • Google Fonts delivers the two typefaces used on the site. No cookies are set, but your IP address reaches Google so the font files can be sent.
  • The map in the Find us section uses OpenStreetMap data and a map library from a public code library (cdnjs). These load only when you scroll to the map, and they also receive your IP address.

3Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It never tells us who you are.

  • The Google tag loads on every visit, but until you press Accept all it runs without cookies: it stores nothing on your device and sends Google only anonymous signals with no identifiers (for example, that a page was viewed). Google uses these in aggregate to estimate visit statistics and ad performance.
  • We use Google Consent Mode v2 in advanced mode, so analytics and advertising consent are switched off by default and only turned on by your answer.
  • Your IP address is shortened before it is used.
  • You can withdraw your consent at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Analytics stops immediately on the pages you open afterwards; to delete what is already stored, clear the cookies for this site in your browser.

Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. How Google handles it is described on Google's business privacy site.

4How to control cookies yourself

Your browser lets you see, delete and block cookies for any site. The settings are usually under Settings, then Privacy:

  • Google Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Settings, Safari, Privacy & Security
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings, Privacy & Security
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions

On a phone you can also limit advertising identifiers: on iOS under Privacy, Tracking, and on Android under Ads.

Blocking cookies never stops you from using this site, because nothing here depends on them.

5More information and changes

How we handle personal data in general, including booking requests, is explained in our privacy policy.

If we start using new cookies, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
